I was working on my company SharePoint and modified a shared page>>modified a shared web part>>xxx part ..advanced...
i had set a part that linked to MSNBC, the Web Part was not functioning, well after i folllowed the steps ive outlined i relized that there was no info in the detail link, i set it to MSNBC.com and applied. well the next thing was a little strange, i redirected my WHOLE top level site to MSNBC! i cannot recover it, i have tried all I know (limited) and cannot seem to find in IIS manager.
Please help, iv pretty much pulled the site for lack of access!, but need to get it resolved
