Whenever I play online computer games, my wireless connection will hit about a 5 second delay every 2-3 minutes. Every 2-3 minutes, the screen freezes for 5 seconds, then speeds way up. Its really frustrating.

When I plug directly into the router, the speed is just fine.

I've went through all my processes and startup programs and stopped almost everything from running, but it didn't help. I have constant Excellent/5 bars connectivity.

I'm using a 54mb Linksys WRT54G Wireless Router & Linksys WMP54G Wireless-G PCI Adapter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :whistling:

Have you been to the router's "home Page" and set everything up for gaming? You should have it set to keep the connection open and be in the DMZ with you local IP.
