I have been reading some information on wikipedia about RAM. Last time I last looked at RAM was in the beginning when DDR had been out for about a year. Since then I have fallen off the bandwagon.

I guess my question is I know the difference between SDRAM and DDRam but.....with the new DDR3 that has come out is there really a major difference in RAM speed?

If I buy a typical Pentium 4 Duo Core processor what type of ram am I looking at buying? Should I buy DDR, DDR2 or DDR3?

What am I looking for?

Thanks. :whistling:
