istallation problem for call of duty 2

i have been trying to install call of duty 2 and whenever it finishes installing i think its done but nothing happens ... it goes out of the installation screen .. loads for a bit . then theres nothing to show for what i just installed .. i check in my program files if anything was installed there but theres nothing ive done this many times and i have tried things like turning every other program off before i install and renaming the installwizard and other things i cant remember. anyone know how to fix this? i really wanna play

try copying the cd to the hard drive and running the install from there.

also, make sure you are installing the software with administrator rights, or it wont be able to install.
