I purchased a Nikon 8mm camcorder 15 years ago. The camera lasted 2 or 3 years before failure.
The repair estimate was nearly equal to the new price.

I still have some great video on 8mm digital but no way to view or edit the videos. :whistling:

Any ideas?

Without any means of playback, transferring to your PC is out of the question, as video capture requires a playback device. You could search on ebay for a compatible playback device.
