Hi, jenlovestigers. Welcome to Geeks to Go!

What version of Internet Explorer do you use?

The only reason IE History would drop off by itself under normal circumstances would have to do with the time limit you set in Internet Options. In IE, click Tools menu, Internet Options, General tab, Days to Keep in History.

You might have a corrupted History file. Try deleting the contents and allowing IE to recreate it. The Hisotry folder is located at C:\documents and settings\UserName\local settings\history. If you don't see this folder, open My Computer, click the Tools menu, Folder Options, View tab. Scroll to Show Hidden Files and Folders and check it.

It could be caused by some kind of Antivirus software interference (see MS Article 819257). What AV do you have installed?
