Hi guys,

Firstly I would like to thank the guys n gals behind geekstogo......U ppl are simply awesome.....u guys take time out and pursue this passion to help ppl like me suffering from computer problems and my past experience with this site is great,

now to get to the main thing....I bought a Acer laptop about an year ago and it looks and costed me a great deal of money. i used to be really proud of it and had a great time using it until the day a blue screen error came....i have been ever since suffering from slow startups, sometimes when i click or start an application it takes ages to start, when I play some music I hear cracking and breaking sounds in the music which also is interupted and obviously WMP takes ages to start....I really wish that someone can tell me why this happens...I mean i have all the windows updates ever published...Mcafee is always uptodate and I even use programs like Adware to keep things virus free and nice...Wonder where the problem is.....???? I defragmented and nothing much changed,,,,please guide me please tell me if there is anything I can do..........

I am writing this with a lot of hope and determination that some one out there will help me.....i am counting on u guys.....Help me...

I suggest that you follow all the self help procedures outlined here: http://www.geekstogo..._Log-t2852.html If after all the scans, there are non-removed entries still showing up, post a HiJackThis log according to the instructions here: http://www.geekstogo...o_Here-f37.html
Once you are confident that your system is completely free from malware, investigate the tips and tools I offer in my Vox: http://doc1101.vox.com/ To visit the "links" copy and paste to your browser address bar in a new tab. Also very helpful as a reference is Sam's e-book: http://www.samspubli...r...4hours&rl=1 Do post back with any specific problems you still have after the malware clearing process is completed.
