having video card problems

I have geforce FX 5500 256mb pci... im not a big gamer but once in a while i want to play an old school game or try out a new one that i like...but recently ive been having problems i tryed playing oblivion on it and the frame rate and graphics where crap...so i guess it was just that my video card sucked...now im trying to play virtua tennis 3 and my keyboard and mouse seem to be having problems they skip i cant control them. Im wondering if its software problem or and hardware problem. thanks for the help

i have had that problem, i had that card :whistling: just a week ago. if your playing a game that the card cant handle the mouse and everything lags badly almost to the point its impossible to control

the card is still good, you could either get trade in value or sell it to someone or on ebay.

Also, some cards work better with older drivers or the ones supplied with the card
