I'd be glad if someone could help with this ........
I have a compaq presario, and I need to install a IMPACT printer (OKIDATA 320). The real problem is that I don't have the port installed and ...the power cable..
1) I'd like to know brands and business where a can get those parts.
2) How to install the port.

This printer has following connectivity -

1. Parallel – Standard
2. Serial – Optional
3. Network – Optional
4. USB – Optional

Now the compaq presario has 2 USB Ports and 1 LAN Port

As far as the Line Cord – should be standard – You may have to purchase interface cable separately – Not too sure what is in the box –

If you need some other interface, other than USB – you will need an Adapter USB Cable – either Parallel RS-232 or Serial – depending on what your needs are – If it is just matching ro PC, then you need the – USB Interface Option + an USB Cable –

Now I think some models of this printer has USB as a Standard?? Not sure
