I have used a 128MB Dale-Elect flash memory connected to a USB port on my Dell XP desktop pc for many months and have only recently run into this problem.

With the flash memory plugged in I try to access it with WORD. The device – Removable Memory Disk E: - appears in the drop-down list under the Look-in window. But when I click on it, I get the error messages:

“Removable Disk E: The parameter is not correct.”

“You do not have access to the folder “E:” See your administrator for permission.”

Can anyone suggest a fix or explanation? Thanks.
