i was wondering if anyone could help me at all

Since installing Windows X64 service pack 2, it is taking upwards of a minute to go into sleep/standby mode when it used to be pretty much instant. The resume from standby is instant, but it is infuriating having to wait around to make sure the computer goes to sleep, as it never used to take this long!

I have tried searching google etc, but nobody else seems to be having the same problem!
Any help would be very much appreciated!
