I've been having difficulty since downloading a freeware file around a month ago. After downloading it I've had nothing but trouble. I have run all of my anti-spyware tools(spybot & ad-aware) and anti-virus programs (Stop Sign, others won't start) and nothing unusual found. I had put off restarting my computer for quite a while and when I did I found out that I needed to do a system restore. I can connect to the internet while in safe mode with networking but only for around 4 or 5 minutes which gives me enough time to download online updates and virus scanners. Afterwards I could not get my Zone Alarm Security Suite running properly. I get a message telling me that zpeng24.dll was not found and I need to reinstall Zone Alarm to fix it. It will not allow me to reinstall it because there is something running somewhere in the background stopping it from reinstalling. I did a Google search and it told me to delete the folder windows/system32/zonelabs and when I tried it told me that I couldn't delete it. I think that there's some hijack program that I inadvertently installed. Any help would be appreciated.
