Hi Bahlzeron.

Those entries that you've pointed out in the activescan results are not actually a virus. Activescan is flagging the SmitFraudFix that you downloaded earlier to fix the problem. That happens occasionally and is not a concern. Read the very end of the instructions below for more info on that. However, I still see it in your Hijack This Log as well. Go ahead and get rid of the SmitfraudFix folder on your desktop and redownload it below. It is updated regularly and we want to have the most current version.

Now, let's get a report of what Smitfraudfix is finding as well as an Uninstall List.
  • Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

  • Let's get an Uninstall List from HijackThis:
  • Open HijackThis, click Config, click Misc Tools
  • Click "Open Uninstall Manager"
  • Click "Save List" (generates uninstall_list.txt)
  • Click Save, copy and paste the results in your next post.
