Which DVD Burner?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1200 notebook and I want to upgrade to a DVD Burner. The default one is a CD-RW/DVD drive so I can only play DVD's and not burn new ones. Can someone point me towards a specific compatible DVD Burner? I really don't have any specifications like write speed and stuff, I just want it to be a quality DVD Burner that will last!

i just checked on the Dell website (for their upgrades and add on parts) and they aren't listing ANY dvd burners compatible with an Inspiron 1200 .. they list alot of combo drives...but no DVD burners

So does the upgrade drive have to be from Dell? Is there any possible solution for getting a DVD Burner on this laptop? Would a Sony DW-Q58A drive work? Do you know of any other specific drives that might work?
