Two options are:

Install this drive in to the other PC, get whatever data you need transferred to it so you can look at a clean install

http://www.askbobran...hard_drive.html

Parallel install, then you would copy data from the original to the new, then remove the original

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/266465

Let me know which you prefer, and if you need any help

Start the PC and keep tapping the delete key until it enters set up, set the boot order to CD ROM then hard drive, press F10 to save, type Y to confirm then press enter to reboot

If the Windows CD is in the drive it will show press any key to load from CD

no i did not install anything, i just reformatted, and reinstalled windows 2000 then when it got into windows it works fine so i decided to try to hook up my internet connection and then the error isass.exe generated errors and windows will restart, it is creating log file. once that pops up then it freezes and i cant do anything and that happens in like the first minute of starting up windows. i have to get rid of that somehow to do anything

Probably need safe mode and back up the registry first

To disable Internet Explorer Error Reporting so that the default operating system error handler is shown if a crash occurs, set the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

IEWatsonEnabled = (DWORD) 0
DWNeverUpload = (DWORD) 1
DWNoExternalURL = (DWORD) 1
DWNoFileCollection = (DWORD) 1
DWNoSecondLevelCollection = (DWORD) 1

Let me know if you need help with this
