I've got a user trying to do a save as from a .pdf file to .rtf in Acrobat (full version 5.0.5). It looks like Acrobat is doing something (ha ha!), but no file gets generated. We tried saving a .pdf to a .txt and got a file that time...empty! I've scrubbed Acrobat off the machine and reinstalled to no avail, so there's gotta be something else going on in the background. I checked and she's got the PDFWriter and Distiller both listed among her printers (I'm not sure why that would matter when going from .pdf to another format, but I know Acrobat is weird). All options under RTF Export in Preferences are checked off as well. She is, however, able to generate .pdf files, so it's working in the other direction, so to speak. Has anyone else stumbled over a similar phenomenon? I'm afraid Acrobat is not on my list of apps with which I'm intimately familar.
