I recently did a clean up on my computer. I think maybe something may have gone wrong with my registry..... I use ccleaner. Anyway...now I can't open any applications. I tried to open regedit to have a look and I get the Windows cannot open this file message. I also tried to run sfc and got the same result. System restore won't open, I downloaded regcure but can't get it to install. I have the discs from when I brought my comp but they don't include a repair option they just take it back to it's factory settings. I don't want to lose all my applications (eg antivirus, firewall, etc). Any suggestions? I'd include a HijackThis log but....yep...it don't work either. :whistling: Interesting thing is IE still works. So does my download manager. Really wierd.

Thank in advance.
