Are programs like "Registry Mechanic" safe to use, or is it wise to stay away form this type of program?
I over heard some Tech Guy that programs Like "Registry Mechanic" can do more harm then good

Unless you do a lot of programme installing / uninstalling you won't need anything

If you do need one then use one which has a back up option so you can undo changes

The scan for issues part of CCleaner has this option

I use Eusing Registry Cleaner. http://www.eusing.co...try_cleaner.htm

CCleaner seems to do a lot more stuff that what I use though. As a matter of fact, I'm going to change over to CCleaner right now..
