need help with fedora core 6

we are trying to set up linux as a router. and the driver installs are wacked. the 2 pcs wont see each other.they can ping each other. but xp pc wont reach internet through the crossover cables.any suggestions?

Fedora is not my linux so I cannot really help but could we have a bit more detail as to what rooter and how you are connecting them by network, and hopefully someone will reply, thanks
