I will be adding a computer to my household. I want to link the two computers to the same DSL internet connectioon. How do I do this?

You either need a router which will provide both computers with an individual Internet Connection, or you can use a hub which will split the signal to both computers, or you can setup and use ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) through Windows and share the Internet connection.

My personal suggestion would be to go with the router in case you add computers in the future. Plus it maintains the speed and integrity of your Internet connection to all PCs.
