Windows Floder got renamed

It is still there but has !!! after all the important files and will not work. It did not come up as a virus. How can I undo these renamed files

You can use any computer to go here

http://www.allbootdisks.com

and make a win98SE boot disk, use it to boot up your system, you may need to change the boot order in BIOS, then you can use it to rename the folder. After the system boots up to the prompt, type help and hit the enter key, it will tell you how to do different things. If you need any clarification let us know.
