I got this CD-ROM drive called 52X MAX. The problem is that my computer can't use it or something like that. I'm sure that the CD-ROM is fine but the computer doesn't recognize it or something. Also my brother, for some odd reason that i forgot, formatted the computer and since that computer doesn't have a CD-ROM drive, i can't put back windows. I tried looking for drivers for this CD-ROM Drive but they don't seem to work. This Thing don't even have instructions on it which really stinks. well, on the top of this thing it has MaxD with a Model number of CMD5211 also it seems to be from BestMax Corporation. On the box the price tag says BTC 52X MAX, which i hope helps you guys to help me. Thanks for your time.

Shouldn't need any drivers with XP. Have you checked the jumpers to make sure it's configured correctly? Does it show in the device manager or BIOS?
