nothing here really explains your error, though you should rid yourself of viewpointmanager

What happens when you try to start Word of IE

Try to run both then go to
Start > run
eventvwr.msc
enter

Look under applications and system for errors that occured when you attempted to run them
Look in application

There are Applications errors and hangs in that that you said for me to go to

The viewpoint is from Weather Watcher.

Microsoft word and IE both open, but Word, after I've typed about a line, it just freezes and I have to ctrl+alt+delete out of it. With IE, I open it and it just won't go anywhere. Gets to where it says it's found the site and is waiting for it to load and never loads.

Hanging application WINWORD.EXE, version 10.0.2627.0, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft....link/events.asp.

Fault bucket 01880210.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft....link/events.asp.

The time service has not been able to synchronize the system time for 49152 seconds because none of the time providers has been able to provide a usable time stamp. The system clock is unsynchronized.

The IP address lease 192.168.0.103 for the Network Card with network address 92C65130C1E6 has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.0.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
ohci1394

The description for Event ID ( 7 ) in Source ( incdrm ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: \Device\MrwR00000000.

Those seem to be the ones most recent and that I'm getting over and over fromw hat I can see in there.

For word, type

Start > Run, and type
winword.exe /a

hit enter

Does it start? Work OK. Type a letter. If it works now, your normal.dot template is corrupt. Do a search, searching for hidden files and folders and delete all normal.dot files. Should be at least two Restart Word...Word will recreate new ones.

Of the errors, this:
The IP address lease 192.168.0.103 for the Network Card with network address 92C65130C1E6 has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.0.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).

is interesting.

Describe your network.

When IE is not working,
start > run
cmd
hit enter
type
ipconfig /all
What do you see for IP address, DNS server?

Once again, describe your network...

Home? Business? Computer hooked to cable/dsl router?

This is certainly wrong:
DNS Server is 192.168.0.1
(that is DNS, not DHCP, right)

If it is your home, your cable router is not transferring DNS information correctly. It should pass your ISPs DNS server on to your system

IE will not work without that information.

If you're at a business, it is possible someone set up the DNS server that way, but it would be uncommon.

So, once again,

describe your network

It's a home network. Me and my husband's computer. D-Link Router.

The DHCP and the DNS are the same.

It's just weird because IE worked one morning and then suddenly it didn't work anymore.
