HELP!!!

I just turned my Packard Bell laptop on but it froze on the opening screen. I went into BIOS and it said that my Primary IDE was disabled. How can I enable it?

On 99.9% of laptops it is not possible to turn off Primary IDE.
Its more than likely your hard drive in the laptop has given up the ghost.

That can't be right, this is my third hard drive since November, all of which have failed on me.
