My wife has been having a problem with downloading music videos to Wmp 11. When she clicks to download or even just to watch a video, like on YouTube. A dialog box pops up showing the download progress right after wmp11 has popped up, with a black screen. That is not much of a problem as long as she remembers to hit exit on the dialog. It will not stop the download, but seems to make the video start playing right away. If she does not click the exit or canceil button it will start playing after several mins. If she dose not remember to close the box. After the download is complete, the video which may have been playing for about 30 seconds, will stop and start from the beginning.

I see quite a number of problems with wmp11. Go to control panel > add/remove programs. Remove wmp11. This will roll you back to wmp10. See if it helps. Latter on you can download wmp11 from microsoft if you find that you need it.
