Disc drive problem

My parents computer has this weird thing where there disc drive will open at random times. It happens if u r on the computer or even if you are not on it. Any help would be great thx

Drives don't open themselves as such, they're more likely to have a stuck eject button, its been accidentally knocked or some software is ejecting the drive.

I assume it is not an eject button because otherwise I would not be able to open it when i do eject it and if u suggest it is a program what kind of program because you were not very helpful with that response
