Hey,

Today I downloaded AVG 7.5 onto this computer, I attempted to install it. When it gets near the end of installation it displays the message

Local machine: installation failed
	Installation:
Error: Action failed for registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\AVG.Kernel: creating registry key....
			Access is denied. (5)

I had AVG already on this computer, so am I meant to uninstall it before attempting to install 7.5?

I am running XP home edition.
Thanks in adance :whistling:

This can happen under a limited user account.
Alternatively, uninstall AVG 7.1 before going with 7.5 as the upgrade rarely works.

I changed my account to Admin the other day, would it have not gone through? I'll try uninstalling 7.1 before installing 7.5. Thanks for your help :whistling:
