My computer has been progressively getting worse and worse over time. It originally started by freezing whenever I turn it on then having to restart it and it worked fine until I turned it off again. Then it also started having red and green pixels scattered everywhere. Just recently my computer started crashing whenever I open any programs other than internet, and then restarting itself. The hard drive clicks every once in a while and stalls the computer when it does so. When I turn on the computer the letters on the very opening screen are all different colors. I also received a stop code STOP:OxOOOOOOEA twice when opening a program and my computer crashing. All of this seems very random and I am entirely clueless as to where I should start to fix the problems. Any suggestions?

My computer is self built and has:

ABIT KN9 SLI Mobo
Nvidia Geforce 7900gt
maxtor 300 gb sata 150 hdd
2x 1gb ddr2 patriot ram
52x memorex cd burner
500w power supply
AMD Athalon 64 3600+
Windows XP Professional
