Hi All,
I could not do copy/cut and paste any of my files or folders ( desktop and inside of any drives c,d,e etc). My desktop file/folder also I could not drag after slection.

I did virus scan using Norton, Mcafee, Kaspersky, AVG with latest virus database (upto date virus database). But No virus found.

Before getting this problem I did registry clean using tool called "WinCleaner OneClick CleanUp" http://www.wincleaner.com/

After doing clean, I deleted the cleaned file without creating any backup(by uncheck the backup checkbox). So it did not created any backup for registry. Now I could not do any cut/copy and paste my files or folders
I got this problem after doing this registry cleaning only.

Previously I used the older version of WinCleaner for cleaning. It was working without any problem. Now I changed the new version. This new version only created problem. This new version deleted some critical registry.
The major mistake i did was i did not take any backup.

This may be purely registry problem. I guess.

Can anyone help to correct this problem.

System configuration :
Dual os : Windows 2000 Professional, Linux 9
Service Pack 4
Ms Office 2003
Ram : 512mb
Harddisk : 80GB

Thanks in advance.

thanks for this info. I will try and let you know the status.
Will it affect my existing installed applications like visual studio, linux. Is it required to install all the service pack again?.
