I have a dell computer and its set to alert me whenever there is 10% of battery or less left. Well the past few days everytime it gets to ten percent i get the alert and then all of a sudden it goes straight to the blue screen. Can someone tell me why this is happening and how to stop this?!?!

You say it goes straight to the blue screen what is the Error Message that comes up on Screen Please give as much Information about your Computer Problem's as you can as there are Hundreds of Blue Screen Errors and it can save a lot of Time in some Cases. Thank You

How old is the battery? Was it ever working well when set to 10%?

My feeling is that the battery is weak and at it's present state cannot supply enough power to keep the computer stable at 10%. Try to raise it to 20% and see what happens.

No it works fine at 10% i think it has something to do with the message that says batter low

Well, that's not what I understood from your first post. I understood that when It gets to 10 percent you get the message and the computer is crashing. If you suspect it's the message itself then try to set it, say, at 50% and see if the computer crash after the message shows up. If it doesn't then chances are that your battery is weak.
