Hi, I was working on a XP machine that was pretty infested. After I had cleaned it up to a good state I went back into Safe Mode and ran SmitFraudFix. I chose 2. Clean.
It said it could not find certain files and then I chose not to (N) Clean The Registry when it prompted me to.
OK.
When I restarted I got the Blue Screen of Death.
STOP: C000021a unknown Hard Error
Unknown Hard Error

I couldn't go back into Windows or Safe Mode. I ran Ultimate Boot CD and a Winternals CD. Doing System Restore and File Replace has not allowed me back in.

Alright I had a strange feeling it was Smitfraudfix that had done this. I got on another XP machine chose the same option, got the same error, chose not to Clean Registry. Rebooted: Blue Screen of Death on a machine that was not infested and couldn't have been from the other one.

Now I have two machines down.

This is where I downloaded Smitfraudfix. http://siri.geekstog...mitfraudFix.php
I've used it 7-8 times before no problems. Does anyone know what is going on and how to fix? Thanks.
