Hello Everyone,

I have a windows 2003 server. I know that there are some viruses in my system. Even when Pop-up blocker is on pop ups keep appearing sometimes as many as 10 in one minute. Also when I start up I get error messages like "File Awturp.dll cannot be found" "error loading file winsys16-070409.dll" Today I clicked on Internet explorer and got the message

The instruction at "0x101ae0000" referenced memory at "01xae0000". The memory could not be read
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on Cancel to debug the program

Now I get this message on every desktop icon I click. I cannot run Internet explorer. I have to open windows explorer and then type in the internet address there so I can access the net.

Please help.

Bruce

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty (and you may not be) then post a hijackthis log in THE MALWARE FORUM forum.
(Posting HiJack This logs in any other forum other than the malware forum is forbidden. If you post an HJT log in any other forum, it will be removed and it will take you longer to get help, so please make sure you only post HJT logs in the malware forum)

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread..
