Random .exe error messages, usually upon boot

I've done of the adware/virus scanning stuff.
The latest error message was DVE694.exe, with the usual do you want to submit to microsoft stuff.

After some research I found the exe files that keep recreating in the /windows/temp folder. They have a dog icon???

djnik2: The dog Icon is from Trend Microscan products. The reason it is a different name constantly is to try and stop viruses attacking the program as it is never the same per reboot.

If you have xp sp2 there may be an issue if you have upgraded the versions from old ones. Try uninstalling trend then obtaining the latest full release from Trend and installing that and hopefully the errors will disappear.

Also please log issue with Trend as this is obviously a fault with their product
