I have windows media 11, I am trying to use software that has to run on windows media 10, but when I try to install version 10 it says that the version 10 is incompatible with my version of windows, which is XP. what can I do

Try to uninstall wmp11 in control panel > add/remove programs. This will roll you back to wmp10.
