what does this mean and how can I go back to get my email?

This error can be caused when you try to send email through a internet service provider when you're not connected to them.
Alternatively, in your case its caused by your computer trying to send a message to a web address that is reserved as a loopback address to itself.
127.0.0.1 tells the computer to effectively talk to itself for something. While it may not have been 127.0.0.1 before, Norton Antivirus is known to change this so it can do virus scan when you send/receive emails, and then fail to change it back afterwards.

thank you for helping me, i figured that part of my security system was not allowing my mail to be viewed so i uninstalled part of the security system because i have another system that can take the place of that one.
