I'm trying to fix my family's computer up and when I try to Hibernate, the screen turns black for about 1.5 seconds than comes back with a message in a small windows stating. . .

Power Management

Your computer cannot enter hibernate or standby
because the PnP BIOS Extension cannot enter
into a low-power state.

Thank You For Any Advice or Comments!! :whistling:
