So my computer died unexpectedly and i had to get a new operating system so i can continue using the computer, So i literally just plugged it in and i have already noticed many problems. When i go to an internet website and scroll down either using my mouse scroll, or even the arrow keys, a line appears and goes from the top to the bottom of the screen and the refresh rate is horrible. So i need to know how to fix that, also i can not get my desktop resolution and font size the way i had it before, i will update on any new problems i encounter but can someone plz help thanks

Items in blue which are underlined are clickable to give more information about the process

Download and install Everest Home Edition

Run the programme, click + next to computer then summary

Look on the right for display / video adapter

Look at the manufacturer’s site for the suitable drivers for your Operating System

If you are unable to find them, please post the make and model here before you download anything

Please set a system restore point before you install anything

You can use system summary to look for any other updates, soundcard etc
