I am in desperate help to fix my laptop, (Windows XP Home edition).
What happened was that i woke up one morning, loaded my computer and got this problem saying System32\Config\System Errors.

Now here is the solution to fixing this problem.
http://support.micro.....Ben-us;307545

Before i followed this solution i could not start up windows even in safe mode, but after i followed it i could for some time. Till i followed the next few steps now i can't even load windows or repair it.

When im in the recovery/repair console the password doesnt work anymore. It keeps coming saying its invalid so i did some research and here is the solution to fixing recovery console if you can't access recovery console.

http://www.rm.com/Su...e...77332&nav=0

But its too confusing and i don't understand.

I guess right now the priority is to first access recovery console because every time i try a password it doesn't work, and there was never a password.

I hope someone can help me , would be really appreicated.
Some people say that its to difficult or better just reformat, i can't because i got alot of files i need !

THE POINT IS : Now i need to get auto repair working because i don't wanna lost any files. But when i try auto repairing and press enter then f8 to agree it straight away goes to installing partition not giving me the option of auto repairing.

If you could directly help me my msn is : (removed email address to protect you from SPAM)

Thank you.
