hello ive just got a dsl connection(my aveage download speed is 200kb) i got it soly plug into my computer i was wondering i doo alot of downloading and i was thing of getting a router if i share my connection to another computer in the house mainly use for browsing the web will it slow down my download speed alot of by a little

depends on what the other computer is doing....if someone else is on the other computer watching movies...then yes...the speed will be alot slower on both computers...if you're downloading and the other person is reading the newspaper...it won't slow it down that much
