Since getting rid of that spyware didn't help, I guess I'll give aol a call...thanks for trying though :tazz:

Yea that must be pretty annoying. Sadly, theres not much you can do besides making the connection more secure, which is what were trying to figure out :tazz:

Your saying you try to update your Virus defenitions or whatever, and during the update you lose connection?

Yes, I lose it while updating and downloading.

Yes definently, you should do something about that connection first so you can update McAfee.

Don't forget to make sure any wires are secure.

It turns out that the software was corrupted. I reinstalled it and everything seems to be fine now.
