Rumoured to be Q3, I'm thinking september. During the summer months there isn't much being bought, thus there arn't many hardware releases.

Well crap... I need a new computer before then... Would the new ATI vid card be SLI compatible with that one I posted there before?

SLI is for Nvidia cards, Crossfire is for ATI cards.
You can merge the two technologies even though they do more or less the same thing. Heck if it isn't even the same GPU from the same series it won't work.
So no it won't work.

Um... Heh, didn't understand that so much. I meant if I buy this new ATI vid card, and the new one comes out in a few months, could they not be connected through Crossfire? Or do I need a different type of ATI vid card/motherboard?

You need a different motherboard, I find crossfire boards for a Intel proc extremely difficult to locate.
I thought you meant SLI a 8800 and the HD2900XT. The technology is called crossfire by the way. You'll need a different motherboard if you want to go this route. But I recommend the 8800GTS 320mb version if your resolution isn't 1680x1050 or more.

For a bit more this card is better and the same brand as your motherboard.

James

Note: Don't let superoverclocked go to your head, it' more or less just as overclocked as any other overclocked GTS

Ok, I found the same case with 700 Watt power supply, more power, for less.

Here's the list for final confirmation (depending on when I decide to make up my bloody mind and buy the thing).

lol they are no longer selling your keyboard or mouse.

That multi card reader, you'll want to be black to match the case.

For 4$ more this burner is a way better.

If you build before mid June can you tell me how you like the case? I'm actually planning on buying the exact same one, warning it costs 70$ is shipping and taxes.

Everything is compatible by the way.

If you really want that reader your going to have to get a SATA burner which are more money. The reason you only have one IDE slot but you have two devices that require it.

The IDE ribbon cords don't have multiple connection plugs on them? Every computer I've seen has that.

Oh, bloody [bleep], hehe, you're right. Unfortunate... Let's see if there's a cheap SATA burner then... Unless I can get an external card reader.
