I currently am using a ThinkPad T60 that I purchased in September 2006. In the beginning, everything worked fine. However, over time, he performance of the DVD/CD drive has decreased. Originally, when I played computer games, the programs would start up immediately when I inserted the disc. Now, the drive seems to take a while to catch up to speed or something -- the game program is laggy and has a delay before it starts. Also, certain DVDs that I used to be able to play on my computer will no longer play. Does anyone know hte reason for this?
