My laptop is kinda slow so i think of reformatting it myself by inserting Window Xp disc to reinstall Xp..The problem is i have a Window Xp Professional Service Pack 3 disc and when i insert..It ask for Service Pack 2 instead of 3...but i dont have the disc..So i go to internet and download Service Pack 2 and let it run..After its done ( which i dont know what it really doing ), it call me to restart my laptop..When i restart, still it ask me to Insert Window Xp Service Pack 2...Whats the problem?

There is no such disc as an XP Service Pack 3 CD, not officially anyway. Not quite sure what's happened there. There is an Office XP Service Pack 3 but its not the same thing.

If you just want to wipe the machine and put a new copy of Windows on it, you shouldn't need to download anything from the internet just to do that, you can do that after XP is back on. You should just boot off an XP CD and follow it through, it shouldn't be asking for any disks.
