I have been using the above for 1 year. It is very good. Because I'm not comfortable, I only fix the "green items". It is underused and expensive. My renewal is due. Is there anything else that can be recommended, perhaps not so expensive. I also use ccCleaner. Thanks.

I am sure there are others that can recommend something but I only use CCleaner and have no need for anything else. Im happy with that. :whistling:

Standard Registry sermon:

1.Don't mess with it without a backup in place.
I recommend ERUNT: http://www.larsheder...nline.de/erunt/
ERUNT Tutorial: http://www.larsheder...erunt/erunt.txt

2.Don't mess with it unless necessary.
Sometimes Registry changes are the only way to effect a needed change.
This most commonly occurs with difficult un-installs.
When it becomes necessary see rule 1.

3.Use only tools that offer line by line manual review and selection.
When required I use jv16PowerTools: http://www.321downlo...ware/index.html
Before employing such a tool, see rule 1.

4.Familiarize yourself with XP Repair Install and Recovery Console.
Those skills may become quite useful to those who use Registry cleaners.
