I was going to get a 20" widescreen and I was wondering what is the best kind of DVI connection? Or does it not matter what kind of DVI connection I have? I know that their are 5 different versions of DVI.

I think that wikipedia explains this the best. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVI.

Yeah I read that earlier and then after all of the abbreviations and technical terms it lost me. I was getting a (DVI-D) dual link and was wondering if the DVI-I (dual link) is that much better because of the 4 more pins?

I don't think so because those 4 pins are analog. The price different is probably even more insignificant though. Many monitors only support DVI-D.
