Hi there -

I can't update AVG internet security updates/files, antivirus, etc.

I simply cant get my computer to download any files from www.grisoft.com

Anyone knows if this is a problem with their server or do I have a malware??

Thanks, reply to my email [email protected]

Hi mjgobbi!

I just tried to update AVG Antispyware and it gave an error that the server wasn't ready to update and to try again later. Then I tried to update AVG Anti-Malware on my computer and it updated fine with no problems. Seems to be a problem with one of the update servers. They possibly are in the process of adding a new update to the server, updating the server itself or performing some other kind of maintenance. I would give it a couple hours and try again and see if you are then able to get updates. :whistling:

I am having this problem for 2 weeks now. When I try to update the virus database automaticaly
it gives me errors (cannot connect), and when I try to download the files manually it won't do it.

I am thinking about abandonning AVG....

I would download the newest version of AVG Antivirus and run it and choose REPAIR INSTALLATION when prompted. Then after it's done installing, reboot your computer (even if not prompted to do so) and once rebooted try downloading updates again.
