I was thinking about the same one, but there is a cooper backplate preventing the installation of many aftermarket coolers.
Also the few additional features don't support the jump in price of the one version lower, the one I purchased, or that I see anyways.
Can't wait, my board is coming on Monday!

P35-DS3P
It's one step lower with virtually no differences, other then the more expensive board having better heat pipes and a few other minor things.

Why didnt you get one with DDR3 support. Im going to get the DS4. But I just bought a sick-[bleep] Fender Jazz bass so I have to wait a lil longer to buy my stuff. It was worth it though.

What is a fender Jazz bass?
If your waiting longer there will be better motherboards out by then.

The monitor I was originally getting seemed to have disappeared from Newegg so I found this one. And its cheaper abut better but the only thing I cant figure is if it's resolution 1680 x 1050 how can it display 1080P. Look at it on the site. Here is the link Sceptre Monitor

They claim it is because it's only 30 pixel lines short, thus stretching the image to achieve "1080i". It can display 1080i not 1080p regardless of what that states. I don't really know how to explain in but I read about this somewhere and if I can find the link I'll pass it on to you.
Progressive or "p" is more bandwidth intensive as well.

They just alter the aspect ratio to fit you its not 1080i or p as you dont have the neccesary horizontal or vertical resolution if it were to display it would cut off most of the edges and the bottom, just some marketing BS.

No. You can`t do the opposite either. The notch is in a different place on DDR3 so it`ll be physically impossible.
