file transfer from mobile to laptop using bluetooth

im trying to transfer pictures from my samsung d600 mobile to my laptop which has a bluetooth dongle, i cant seem to get it to work, is it possible to do this and what is the process to do this.

Im new to bluetooth and would appreciate some help from someone who has done this before

For bluetooth you need to sync the devices.
Then you send the photo from the phone to the computer.

ah ty, i have coupled the devices and added a password for both.

I then went to photos and sent it by bluetooth to my laptop it worked.

The problem i was having was that i thought my phone would show up as an external memory source on my laptop, i was trying to access the phone from the laptop, doh.

Its really simple in the end
