Mic stuck on stereo mix

i put my mic on stereo mix so i could record stuff off the internet, not and copywrighted material tho :whistling:

now i can figure how to make it take sound from the mic again!

Stereo Mix does just that - takes input from all sources at all times. Your mic should still work.

i tried muting the stereo mix, then trying my mic, and it still dose not work. its plugged in the back, when its plugged in the front it has to be shoved down my htroat to hear me...

You don't mute Stereo Mix. Just carry on as you did before.

Failing that, from the Volume Control screen, go to Options -> Properties -> Select "Recording" button -> Tick Microphone -> OK. Now you can alter the Mic's volume and (soundcard pending) make it exclusive.
