<_< My CDRW recently went out, so I purchased an external (USB) CDRW.
I originally had Windows XP, but erased it, thinking that somehow this would solve my problem. Why, I don't know (okay, so I'm a fool). :D Anyhow, I need to use my external CDRW to reformat my hard drive, and reinstall Windows ME using my HP restore discs, then to use my other upgrade disc to reinstall Windows XP. How in the world do I do this? Is it even possible?

Check your BIOS settings to see if you have "USB device", or "other device" as one of the boot options.
